Quick answer and first checks
Separate a direct link from a launcher that opens channel choices. The label should explain the actual destination or selection. Verify that your installed Converly version offers the appearance you need; a standard Wix text button can also open a direct link.
- Define the action the button opens
- Align visible text and accessible name
- Test longer translations on mobile

Decide what the label should promise
A launcher that opens several channels should not suggest it only opens WhatsApp. For a direct link, “Message us on WhatsApp” can explain the destination. Use the shortest accurate description; put opening hours and longer explanations beside the control instead of inside it.
For example, “Consultation options” could open phone and email choices on a consultancy site. “Instant support” would be misleading if nobody is available to reply immediately. This is a design example, not a service-level promise.
Choose an implementation that exists
A linkable standard Wix Studio text element or button can open a contact destination directly. Opening a multi-channel menu is a different interaction. Converly groups channels under a launcher, but whether a text-only appearance is available must be checked in your installed version. This guide does not guarantee an unverified visual mode.
- Write down whether the control opens a destination or a list of choices.
- Choose a short action label and keep the visible wording aligned with its accessible name.
- Check long translations alongside cookie controls and bottom navigation on mobile.
- Focus and activate it with a keyboard. If a menu opens, check access to its items and its close control.
- Open the published link and verify the final account or page.
Common questions
Is removing the icon always better?
No. A familiar icon and a concise label may work well together. Decide according to the visitor’s understanding and available space, then verify the real interaction.
Will a brighter animation increase clicks?
That cannot be guaranteed. A readable label and a working link are the starting point. Compare relevant click events within comparable device groups, and distinguish clicks from completed conversations when reviewing results.
