Uluk Textile: product-led corporate web design

A corporate website project presenting Uluk Textile’s product range and manufacturing information. Product and company content were considered within the same structure.

Connect product groups with company information

Finding a product category and understanding manufacturing capabilities are distinct but related tasks. Page structure, category organisation and company presentation were assessed together.

Project context

Visitors researching a textile business need to understand both the company and its product range. Uluk Textile’s website work focused on presenting that information within a coherent corporate structure.

The central task

General company copy alone could not carry the product information. Categories and page content needed a structure that helped visitors move from a broad introduction to the product group they were researching.

Our approach

Product-led pages, corporate language and visual hierarchy were considered together. Content blocks and categories were organized to make the range easier to explore.

Product and company pages were planned for different questions and search intentions. Repeating the same general text across every page was avoided in favor of content suited to each page’s purpose.

Product taxonomy and content management

Textile categories combine naming, use cases, technical characteristics and visual presentation. The Uluk Textile structure separates product groups from corporate information while preserving a clear route to the relevant category and enquiry step.

Balancing visual presentation and performance

Product photography is central to evaluation, but oversized files can make the mobile experience difficult. Image ratios, source dimensions, alternative text and loading behaviour were considered according to the role of each visual. The aim is to preserve useful detail without unnecessary network weight.

Category SEO and internal links

Category headings, descriptive copy and contextual links were planned to support product discovery and crawlability. Rather than copying the same paragraph across many categories, each section should explain the real characteristics of its product group.

What this project demonstrates

The project shows how a corporate website can support research before an enquiry through product architecture and useful content.
