Identify what needs to be preserved first
We review pages, links and accessible performance data. Reusable content is identified, and changed addresses receive a redirect plan. The scope also defines mobile checks and the steps required for launch.
- Existing page and content inventory
- URLs to preserve and required redirects
- New content, mobile layouts and launch plan
When does a redesign make sense?
A redesign is worthwhile when a site is difficult to use on mobile, looks disconnected from the brand, makes services hard to find or has a technical structure that blocks growth. We evaluate information architecture and technical constraints as well as visual design.
Preserving SEO value
We do not change URLs that already earn visibility without reviewing their value, content and internal links. When a URL must change, the old address should be redirected with a 301 to the most relevant replacement, with canonicals and sitemaps updated accordingly.
Content and user journeys
Rather than moving old copy into new boxes, we decide what should stay, merge or be rewritten for clarity. Calls to action, contact paths and service journeys are simplified around real user intent.
Performance and mobile quality
Images, fonts, scripts and layout behaviour are reviewed. We preserve the brand experience while reducing unnecessary load, limiting layout shift and improving readability on smaller screens.
Pre-launch migration checks
Before release we verify redirects, canonicals, sitemap entries, forms, internal links, analytics and critical pages. This keeps a visual redesign from turning into an avoidable SEO migration problem.
