Privacy Policy – Website & Wix Apps

1. Scope and controller

This Privacy Policy describes personal-data processing that may occur when you use the Vebixo Studio website or apps developed by Vebixo Studio and distributed through the Wix platform. “Vebixo Studio”, “we”, “us” or “our” refers to the service provider; “user” generally refers to the Wix site owner or administrator who installs or manages an app; and “visitor” refers to a person visiting that user’s website.

2. Categories of data we may process

Depending on the service, we may process contact details such as name, email address, phone number and support messages; site, account or installation identifiers and basic site information made available by Wix; app configuration data; activation status; language choices; appearance and display rules; business hours; department settings; contact-channel details entered by the user; and limited technical information such as timestamps, browser/device information, error logs and security events. We aim to apply data minimization and process only information reasonably necessary for the relevant functionality.

3. Wix app data and permissions

Vebixo Studio apps may interact with Wix APIs, permission scopes, webhooks, dashboard components, site components, embedded scripts or other Wix developer services. Permissions vary by app and feature. We aim not to request permissions that are unnecessary for the app’s functionality and to limit access to the minimum practical scope. Data that may be accessible through Wix CRM, Orders or similar user-of-user APIs is not used to build an independent marketing or sales database for our own use, nor sold or distributed to third parties.

4. Purposes of processing

Data may be processed to install and operate an app, save and apply user-selected settings, integrate with permitted Wix functionality, apply language and visibility preferences, troubleshoot technical issues, protect security, prevent abuse, respond to support requests, improve performance and user experience, and meet applicable legal obligations.

5. Installation and support data

Wix may make limited installation information available to app developers, such as a site URL, installation/instance identifier, plan information, or account details needed for support. We use this information for legitimate app operations such as support, security, troubleshooting and service administration. We do not use it to send unsolicited marketing communications. Marketing messages are sent only where an appropriate legal basis or consent exists.

6. Site visitors and third-party channels

A Vebixo Studio app may direct a site visitor to a communication or service channel selected by the site owner, such as WhatsApp, phone, email, Instagram, Messenger, Telegram, booking services, maps/location services or another third-party service. Once a visitor uses a third-party service, that provider’s own privacy policy and terms apply. Vebixo Studio does not control the independent privacy practices of those third parties.

7. Legal bases

Where applicable, processing may rely on performance of a contract, legitimate interests, compliance with a legal obligation, or consent where consent is required. We consider applicable data-protection rules, including the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK), the GDPR where applicable, and other relevant privacy laws.

8. Sharing and service providers

We do not sell personal data. Information may be shared, only as reasonably necessary to provide the service, with Wix and service providers such as hosting/infrastructure providers, email or support providers, error-monitoring services and security providers. Such sharing is limited to operating, securing and supporting the service. Information may also be disclosed to competent authorities where legally required.

9. International transfers

Wix and some infrastructure or communications providers may operate servers or services in multiple countries. Data may therefore be processed or transferred outside your country when technically necessary to provide the service. Where required by applicable law, appropriate safeguards and transfer mechanisms are considered.

10. Retention and uninstalling an app

We retain information for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected and for applicable legal retention requirements. When the purpose ends and no valid retention obligation remains, information is deleted, anonymized or made inaccessible. Uninstalling an app does not necessarily cause every limited technical record to disappear immediately where short-term retention is required for backups, security, troubleshooting or legal obligations.

11. Security

Vebixo Studio applies reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure. Measures may include HTTPS, access controls, authentication and authorization, least-privilege access, current software components, secure secret management, and appropriate logging/monitoring. No internet-based system can be guaranteed to be absolutely secure.

12. Cookies and similar technologies

Our website or apps may use cookies, local storage or similar technologies for sessions, security, remembering preferences, core functionality and performance. Where non-essential technologies require consent, appropriate consent mechanisms should be used. Wix site owners are also responsible for implementing any visitor-consent process required for their own websites.

13. Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or anonymize personal data, restrict processing, object to certain processing, and request portability where available. Requests are handled under applicable law after appropriate identity and authorization verification.

14. Data deletion and support requests

To request access, correction or deletion of information associated with a Vebixo Studio app, email supportvebixo@gmail.com or follow the steps on our Data Deletion Request page. We may ask you to verify your relationship to the relevant Wix site or app installation before processing the request.

15. Children’s privacy

Our services are not directed to children and we do not intentionally seek to collect personal data from children without any parental or guardian authorization required by law.

16. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our apps, infrastructure or legal obligations change. The “Last updated” date on this page will be revised for material changes. Where a material change affects app use, we may provide additional notice through an appropriate channel.
